Blurring the line between high-tech and hand-made
Blurring the line between high-tech and hand-made
Through strategic pricing, we sold a fridge magnet in our local area for Rs 80, but on our marketplace, we increased its price by 1000% and sold out within a week, showcasing the value of targeted audience appreciation for art.
Kraftverse emerged to empower local artisans in need of a supportive platform for their craft. Challenging the notion that art as a livelihood is limited to a privileged few, I believe in the universal right to pursue artistic passions. In a country where millions rely on their art for survival, the art scene has historically been confined to the elite, commissioned through generational wealth. Seeking firsthand industry insights, I embarked on a post-graduation backpacking journey while interning at ISRO. With limited resources, I founded Kraftverse and secured sponsorships from companies in Bangalore and Paris. Launching our marketplace on Amazon, we witnessed a remarkable 358% surge in sales within a week. Kraftverse serves as a bridge between traditional ethics and modern standards, empowering artisans and connecting them with a global audience.
